Alain Chabat, master of ceremonies!

He's always made us laugh, but this time he's determined to frighten us!

Alain Chabat holds a special place abroad and in the hearts of the French, and although we associate him with comedies, he admits, just to us, his attraction to horror films.

The actor of Fear City: A Family-Style Comedy, director of Didier and RRRrrr !!!,  will honor us by presenting Fright Night, the chilling all-nighter held Saturday, October 17 from 9pm until dawn at the Halle Tony Garnier!

A big fan of horror movies, the media-discreet Alain Chabat willingly admits his penchant for classics, like the four films presented at Fright Night: Night of the Living Dead by George A. Romero (1968), Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead (1981), Insidious by James Wan (2010), and of course, monumental film The Thing by John Carpenter (1982) with its terrifying special effects, presented in a restored print and making its cinema comeback since its initial theatrical release.

In October, we'll also pay tribute to two great masters of the genre, Wes Craven and Christopher Lee.

The event is made possible thanks to Splendor Films, Films without Borders, Wild Bunch and Renaissance Pictures.
