A selection of the finest restorations of the year. An event: certain films will be accompanied by their director: the Italian Dario Argento for Deep Red, the Franco-Greek Costa-Gavras for Special Section and the Argentinian Luis Puenzo for The Official Story.

The Marseille Trilogy of Marcel Pagnol

Marius by Alexander Korda (1931, 2h)

Fanny (Orane Demazis) is in love with Marius (Pierre Fresnay). To spur on his jealousy, she lets herself be courted by the old Panisse... A simple setting with delicious dialogues, all in the name of comedy and emotion. A trip to Marseille with Raimu.
