DVD Market 2015
With nearly 5000 titles available this year, the Lumière festival DVD market opens its doors on Friday, October 9th at 7:30pm.
Located at the festival Village, you can visit the market from 10:30am to 9pm throughout the festival.

A special section is devoted to the Lumière Award recipient 2015: Martin Scorsese's video club! It includes his filmography, his inspirations and recommendations, and other references to his universe, like his gangster films, rarities of world cinema, or musical comedies.
Browse the films on this year's lineup, from Julien Duvivier to Pixar, and don't forget to check out works by special guests who will introduce their films and other personalities honored at this 7th edition of the festival like Sophia Loren or Nicolas Winding Refn.
Divided into about 20 genres, the boutique will satisfy movie fans and grand connoisseurs alike, with sections dedicated to Italian cinema, Asian films, or sci-fi flicks. Recommendations by the American Film Institute, the British Film Institute or from Bertrand Tavernier are scattered throughout the selection. And to help you with your purchases, for the first time this year, discover thematic Gift Sets as well as films that have marked past editions of the festival.
Die-hard cinephile? You'll find rare offbeat films in a section dedicated to reissues less than four months old. And for the regulars of the festival, know that the DVD market includes over 2,500 references renewed each year.
Of course the brand new "DVD Lumière !" will be available at the boutique, but also - and exclusively - films by Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, shot during the golden age of Toho productions, edited by Wild Side! Lumière also honors the work of Gaumont this year; among numerous references of the prestigious editor, discover their special Box Set, "120 Years."
At the DVD market, there are also previously unreleased works, rare or essential films… stay up to date though our website and on social media!
